Short Breaks: During the winter short breaks are on offer; either Fri to Sun nights or Mon to Thurs nights can be booked in advance.

Please note that short break holidays may be available during the high season if the cottages are still available 3 or 4 weeks before the start date. Please contact me for availability. The price quoted is 70% of the rate for the relevant week.

The price includes duvets, bed linen, towels, electricity, firewood and heating. There is an honesty box for the use of the telephone in the farmhouse.

Pets: There is a separate charge for domestic pets of £20 each. Please keep dogs under control and do not allow them into the bedrooms. Stabling and grazing is available for horses; please ring to discuss.

Access: Xidong Cottage is not suitable for toddlers and young children or disabled adults; Squire Cottage has restricted wheel-chair access downstairs and a ground floor lavatory. Very young babies are extremely welcome in either cottage and there is a cot available (please ask). See access statement for a more detailed description of the properties.

Deposit: To secure a booking a deposit of 25% of the total cost is required. The full amount is payable four weeks before arrival.

Cancellations: If you have to cancel the booking before the balance has been paid your deposit will be returned if I am able to re-let that week.  Please see note below about holiday insurance.

Start Day: Friday; please arrive any time after 3.00 pm and on the last day please leave before 10.00 am to allow time for us to clean and titivate before our next visitors.
